The first major of the season, the 9th Team Championship, took place in prehistoric Únětice. With six elite teams competing, in the absence of Ghanaian Dogs and the colourful Bolivian Pumas, and under the watchful eyes of three experienced Ukrainian referees.

Zamunda crowned champion of Ghana
The last National Tour tournament of the year was organised by the Black Dogs club from Ghana. AfroCat was held in Kladno for the seventh time, and this year it also marked a round milestone, becoming the hundredth tournament played in Smoking Cat within the SCWU.
