The Masters, the pinnacle major tournament of the season’s TOP 10 players, closes the playing season and is held in the spirit of the season gala, with the ceremonial announcement of the Player and Team of the Year.

Like any other tournament, it is of course freely open to spectators.

The Masters is made up of the 10 best players of the season:

the SCWS winner,
1 player from the winning Team Championship team,
the GreenHorn Cat winner (if it is held in the given season),
the Masters ten is then completed by the best players of the season according to their standing in the rankings.

Scoring: The Masters winner earns 10 points in the season standings. The others earn points according to their placement under the Season Standings Scoring.

Masters prizes: an original Masters Scarf, the winner's signature on the Masters Cylinder, the winner's award, gold-silver-bronze diplomas, participant badges, a consolation prize, a prize for the winner of the online prediction game.

Prizes for the season's winners: The Smoking Cat Player of the Year receives their original golden Hejma statuette and material prizes. The Team of the Year takes home the travelling trophy, the famous JokeRiders Cup, and a commemorative diploma.

Confirmation of participation

The Masters is an invitational tournament; no entry fee is paid.

Masters 2026 participants should confirm their binding participation to the SCWU headquarters,
by 11 Nov 2026 (at the latest.)
